making considered things in Birmingham.

Capacity
Two studio days, two field days

A few things made in the studio recently.

Brand systems, packaging, a small homewares run, an independent shop fit. Not a portfolio site — more a quick look at what comes out of here.

What we do

Three things, done slowly.

i.

Brand identity

Names, marks, voice and the small system that holds them all together. Designed to be useful at A4 and at billboard, on a label and on a phone screen.

— 6 to 10 weeks
ii.

Product design

From a sketched idea to a small-run object you can hand to a customer. Materials sourced where possible from within a day's drive of Birmingham.

— 12 weeks +
iii.

Retail experience

Independent shops, pop-ups, market stalls and small concession fits. The bit where the brand and the product actually meet a person who's choosing to spend money.

— Project-based
How it goes

Three meetings, no surprises.

We don't run things lean by accident — we run them lean because it's the only way to keep the work honest. Three meetings, fixed scope, fixed price.

i.

The meeting before the meeting

Free, ninety minutes, in the studio or over Zoom. We talk about what you're trying to do and whether we're the right pair of hands for it. If we're not, we'll tell you who is.

ii.

Scope, price, contract

Fixed-price written proposal within a week. Three stages, each with a clear deliverable. Stage payments rather than a single deposit. No surprise extras, no rolling retainers we didn't agree to.

iii.

Make, review, hand over

Two reviews per stage — one rough, one near-final. You see work as it's being made, not as a polished surprise. At the end you own every file, every source asset and every right.

A few lines is plenty. We'll come back with questions.
